{Live} All I Want For Christmas

My name is Chrissy and I’m a drugstore junkie. I’ve been hitting up drugstores since I was in sixth grade. It began with me scouring the shelves for the perfect Wet N’ Wild pistachio green nail polish that I could pair with White Out dots to create a punkified domino effect on my fingertips. By seventh grade, I couldn’t get enough of Sun-In, a classic drugstore staple back then. I realized that not only did it deliver groovy orange highlights, but it roughed up my naturally silky hair so I could get a better sky-high bang and the crispy waves from my crimping iron held a little longer.

Fast-forward a gazillion years later and I still find my car strangely veering off route and being pulled into a drugstore parking lot. So, it makes sense that I include drugstores as one of my shopping stops for the holidays. And since we’re trying to be a little more mindful about holiday spending, it’s the perfect place to find affordable goodies for everyone, including me! Who says you can’t stuff your own stocking?

Here are some gift ideas I came up with:

For Mom

  • The BaByliss Pro TT Tourmaline Titanium 1000 Watt Hair Dryer (since she just broke hers).

For Dad

  • Neutrogena Men Triple Protect Face Lotion (Heavy aftershave was great back in the day, but sorry, Dad, it’s time to move on).

For Bro

  • American Crew Forming Cream (so he can preen properly).

For Hubby

  • His own Mach 3 Gillette Shaving Cartridges (so he stops stealing mine).

For the Kids

  • Johnson’s Bedtime Bath (they love a good bubble bath!).

For Girlfriends

  • Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezers (in pink, of course!)

For Me!

  • Essie Nail Color in Miami Nice (I know! Essie’s at Walgreen’s - who knew?!)

  • Andrea Modlash False Eyelash Strips (plain old mascara is just not cutting it these days).

  • La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 (I’ve been dying to try this for years).

  • L’Oreal Feria Permanent Haircolour Gel Havana Brown (Gone are the salon days - *sigh*).

What’s on your wish list?

If you’re coming up with nothing, stay tuned for the CRAVE IT. COVET. LOVE IT. Christmas Edition, and I’m sure I’ll find something for you to wish for!

Happy Holidays!
