{Celebrate} Pirate Themed Gift Ideas
January 4, 2012 in All Posts, Celebrate
After the Make Your Own Monster Gift Kit post, which featured some monster-themed gift ideas, some of you asked what themed gifts Sam received for his pirate-themed birthday party, so here you go!
My favorite was this awesome set of pirate-themed gifts from our young hipster couple friends who picked up this cool booty from local San Francisco boutique 826 Valencia Pirate Supply Store:
- Sea Loaf in a can
- Good Night Leo by Charise Mericle Harper
- Scurvy Begone jelly beans
- 826 Skull, Bone & Whale t-shirt
Other great gifts included Pottery Barn pirate bath towels and pirate apparel galore.
If you’re looking to put together a child’s pirate-themed gift, here are a few more ideas for a swashbuckling good loot bag:
- Melissa & Doug Pirate Costume Role Play Set
- Shiver Me Letters: A Pirate ABC
- LEGO Pirate Building Set
- Mega Bloks Pull Along Musical Pirate Ship
- Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden 48-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle - Pirates
- Haba Bath Book Pirate
Arrrr! Good luck, Mateys!
Oh, how I love 826 Valencia! Have you been? I really don’t need pirate booty, but I can’t leave that store empty-handed. They sell all the Dave Eggers books, which are an addiction in my house! Plus, the mission of the store is awesome.
Cool, I will check out his books! I just learned that there are a bunch of 826 stores around the country - neat concept.
