Another Fourth of July quickie for you today: Red, White & Blue Cupcakes!
All you need is box mix, food coloring + your imagination:
As is always the case when we do side by side projects, mine was more organized in layers and Jane’s was wildly creative with splatters of color.
It doesn’t matter how you use your red, white & blue … we enjoyed every last crumb of our crazy colored cupcakes:

they look like firecrackers! awesome! I made that crazy shortcake, again- but since I’m on a diet officially, I couldn’t eat much of it. Blah.
I saw that photo on FB! Looked amazing. You can eat the fruit right? Just spit out the rest
And I think if you just chew up a dessert, but don’t swallow it, it doesn’t count!
