What is the Outlaw Mom (TM) blog?

At the Outlaw Mom (TM) blog, I share art, learning & play ideas for toddlers and preschoolers + baking & crafts for parents + a dose of unconventional parenting. I also share some of my journey seeking the mindful life here in hectic Silicon Valley and my quest to reconcile my former makeup obsessed, high heel wearing self with my new mommy gig.

Who is behind the the Outlaw Mom (TM) blog?

I’m Chrissy - a lawyer mom who recently experimented with the stay-at-home life since July of last year and is back in the part-time work/part-time mom rodeo. I’ve been in the law game for over ten years and joined the ranks of Motherhood 3.25 years ago. Not one to wait around for those good things that come in small packages, I had my two babies, Jane and Sam more or less back to back. On any given day, you’ll find me “Discovering the Laws of Motherhood … and Breaking Them.”

How would you describe yourself in a word or two?

A walking contradiction.
